Bio

Szymon Sobczak was born and currently resides in Łódź. His fascination with comics urged him to take art studies, in the course of which his interests broadened to include other techniques and disciplines. In 2015 he graduated from the Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, where he earned an MFA degree in Professor Gabriel Kolat's studio.

Currently, Szymon Sobczak works mainly in painting and comic illustration.

He teaches art courses at two universities located in his hometown –  the University of Humanities and Economics and the University of Computer Sciences and Skills. He is also involved in his alma mater's International PATA Summer Courses.
